Located just outside of Skippack Village, right next to the Wawa Skippack on the corner of Route 73 and Route 113, is Skippack Vision, a family eye care practice committed to offer outstanding patient vision care to Skippack and the surrounding communities in Montgomery County, like Harleysville, Worcester, Souderton, Schwenksville, Collegeville, Lansdale, and many more.

September marked the One Year Anniversary since Dr. Joseph Toth took over the business from Dr. James Montague. The business itself has over three decades of existence in the community. While transitioning Doctors, the rest of Skippack Vision’s team has remained unchanged. Dr. Toth and his team are dedicated to continuing the treatment of patients with attention and commitment.

At the same time, Skippack Vision strives to offer the best patient experience in their practice. And it is with this thought in mind that they are launching within the next few weeks a new upgraded software for practice management and eye diagnostic exams that will allow Doctor and staff to operate in an effortless and straightforward way, delivering a smooth experience in eye care and reducing patient wait time. It will also allow the practice to ‘go green’ and reduce paper waste.

Dr. Toth is an Optometrist that has proven to be committed to his profession and patients by routinely upgrading his diagnostic skills by engaging in continuing education courses. Dr. Toth specializes in family comprehensive eye exams, treating external ocular disease, and contact lens fittings. He is licensed to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceuticals to treat and manage an array of vision and ocular diseases including glaucoma. He is also a surgical co-managing doctor in conjunction with Kremer Eye Center for cataracts, LASIK, etc.

During an eye exam, Dr. Toth always explains step by step what he is doing and why he is doing it. He believes it is very important to ask his patients questions and listen to their concerns. He makes sure they are comfortable and know exactly the current procedure and what his next actions will be to ensure an optimal patient care experience. In an effort to provide a more thorough eye exam, Skippack Vision has incorporated the iWellness Exam. This scan provides a very clear and in-depth ‘picture’ of the patient’s retinal health which makes it possible for early detection of sight threatening diseases to help prevent vision loss and more serious complications. Skippack Vision is equipped with state-of-the-are instrumentation and technology to detect any eye condition or disease. The practice optical frame inventory proudly offers over a thousand styles for anyone, from budget to designer glasses.

The first year of Dr. Toth ahead of Skippack Vision was market with the practice being an active member in the local surrounding Community by sponsoring a Harleysville Youth Baseball Team and participating in the Diabetes Awareness 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run and Kid's Bike race. “We realize the importance in supporting activities that cultivate skills empowering our youth to become future leaders and athletes and at the same time be aware of environmental issues”, said Dr. Toth.

Skippack Vision has a very friendly and knowledgeable team that truly listens to questions and concerns ranging from insurance billing to which corrective lenses and frames fits better your medical needs as well as lifestyle preferences. They will go above and beyond to assist patients. Please call 610-584-4544 with any questions, or to schedule an appointment. They also offer online scheduling on their website https://www.skippackvision.net/schedule-appointment.html
