Serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Some of the Best Coffee in Skippack

Everybody loves a café with a comfy atmosphere, right? Ashley’s Café is tucked away, right off the beaten path in Skippack Village. The owner, Linda Pickles, named the café after her daughter and recently celebrated a year of being in business! Ashley’s Café is open Monday through Friday 7am-3pm and Saturday & Sunday 8am-2pm. You can take your breakfast or lunch to go, gather around a high-top table, or spread out on a couch. It’s easy to grab a cup of specialty coffee and jump into work mode at Ashley’s Café as it is one of the very few places in the village with free Wi-Fi.

The menu is made up of breakfast sandwiches, a variety of lunch options, and specialty coffee. The owner, Linda, takes pride in the fact that the food served in the café is home made. Fresh doughnuts are made in the café daily. The soup of the day is always made from scratch onsite. Breakfast sandwiches are only made with fresh cracked eggs on New York Style bagels from Barrister’s Bagels in Royersford. One of the most popular items on the menu is the sautéed mushroom egg and cheese, but there are many other impressive recipes to choose from. Ashley’s Café has made a promise to never sacrifice quality for time. The café also makes a great effort to use locally sourced ingredients to support other businesses in the area. Getting to know their regulars and remembering their orders as they walk in the door is something that Linda and her staff pride themselves on.

The café has seen great success from partnering with other small businesses in Skippack Village and the surrounding area. The walls are lined with pieces from local artists which Ashley’s Café connects with through the Schang-Hai Gallerie. The art work that brightens the space up is also for sale. Ashley’s Café also joins forces with Floral and Hardy every week for a Monday Give Away! Check out their Facebook every Monday for details. Prizes include one item from each business, Ashley’s Café often gives away coffee or breakfast sandwiches. You will also find a number of business cards and event posters in the café. Right now, you may notice the Best Kept Secrets Tour poster. Ashley’s Café is a participant of the tour that highlights a diversity of delightful businesses in Montgomery County May 3rd to May 19th. See the Best Kept Secrets Tour website for ticket information or stop by Ashley’s Café for more information!
