For almost 20 years the Center for Loss and Bereavement has served as a local non-profit organization, providing professional counseling, support services, and education for children, adults, families, schools, and organizations dealing with the impact of profound grief and loss.
Nello’s Corner is a program of the Center designed to provide ongoing peer support groups for grieving children, teens and their families.
Camp Millie is a 4-day camp for grieving children. It gives them a unique opportunity to connect with peers who are coping with the death of a parent or sibling. It is this particular bond which transforms the usual summer camp experience to one which offers hope and growth in a supportive, caring environment.
