Stepping through the doors of S.A. Oliver & Co. is like stepping back in time. This hidden gem owned by Steve Oliver opened its doors in March of 2018.  In February of this year, the business moved just across the street from their old location and is now located at 4038 Skippack Pike. The new, easily accessible location in the center of Skippack makes it hard to resist all of the wonderful products located inside.

As Steve describes it, “Shopping here is a journey, and experience.”  It’s easy to see why. The unique store carries an eclectic blend of home décor, from farmhouse chic to vintage and industrial home goods and furniture. These carefully curated products line the enormous 12-foot farmhouse table and fill antique shelves reminiscent of an old 1900’s general store.  One shelf holds an assortment of historic tea blends by Oliver Pluff which you won’t find anywhere else. A vintage cabinet holds a variety of apothecary hand poured soy candles with relaxing scents such as Rosemary and Sea Salt and Orange Zest and Bergamot.

From beautiful framed prints, metal storage bins and reclaimed barnwood furniture, to unique vintage inspired lanterns and lighting and everything in between, S. A. Oliver & Co. is truly a store full of timeless classics that complement any décor.

To appreciate it and see the incredible displays it is worth the trip to make a visit in person. To complete the experience, once you have hand picked your selections, your order is rung up on the brass 1904 National cash register. Even gift wrapping is straight out of yesteryear, with brown paper and hand stamped bags tied with signature black and white checked ribbon.

If you’re not sure what to get the pickiest of people, S.A. Oliver & Co. also offers gift cards.  You will be hard-pressed to find a more unique and enjoyable “discovery” experience when you are out shopping.  Explore. Dream. Discover.
